Twitter For Small Business - a proven strategy

What is Twitter? A microblogging platform that forces you to be concise by only allowing 140 characters / message (aka tweet).

How can Twitter serve your small business?

- Share information: promote your blog articles, news, webinars.
- Build authority.
- Follow and learn from power users.
- Announce special offers.
- Monitor your company / brand. Use Twitter’s search box to do that.
- This should be your last goal: find customers. Use Twitter’s search box to look for people that might be interested in your products / services. Don’t be too salesy, though - you are going to scare them off for sure.

3. Write "How To" articles.

4. Get ideas from the top marketing experts, not necessarily from your industry, by subscribing to their newsletter; even well written spam messages can be useful sometimes ;)

5. Find a theme, and then write a series of ...

If you’ve spent some time on Twitter, you know how fun it can be to just follow a trend and get a lot of useful or funny information. Nevertheless, there are times when you’d like to get involved and send out a powerful tweet that attracts hundreds or thousands of people to your website, blog, etc.
